Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine used to treat a range of symptoms and conditions, from the physical to the chemical and emotional. As a tried and tested healthcare system, Acupuncture’s detailed understanding of the body and mind has been developed, researched and refined over centuries. Acupuncture can treat a range of conditions
Chinese Medicine is well known for the successful management of pain conditions. It can be used for a wide variety of pain conditions independent of their cause and duration. This includes: Musculoskeletal and joint conditions – neck and shoulder tension, back pain, sciatica, tennis elbows, carpal tunnel syndrome, RSI. Internal – dysmenorrhea (period pain), headaches, migraines, abdominal pain. Long-term and/or generalised pain conditions including arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Chinese Medicine can be used successfully in the treatment of many emotional conditions including anxiety, depression, stress, dissatisfaction and over-thinking. Chinese Medicine approaches the condition by bringing all emotions back into a natural equilibrium to ease stress, calm excessive thinking and lift the spirit to regain inner strength. Chinese medicine can also be used to treat health problems with identified emotional causes such as panic attacks, tension headaches and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs can also be employed to treat acute emotional issues including bereavement and shock.
Digestive symptoms including nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, indigestion, bloating and bowel changes are all known to have lasting results with acupuncture.
